IVA first began operations back on February 16, 2008 and has seen some really great pilots come though these doors during that time as well as log countless hours in the sky. Since our conception, IVA has dedicated itself to becoming a fun, professional, and all around great place to hang out and fly with other flight enthusiast from all over the world.
We as a virtual airline have a several tools at our disposal to add a great deal of realism to your flying experience with FSX by utilizing a program known as VAFS (Virtual Airline Financial System) This program allows us to track our pilots progress, aircraft usage, routes flown, and even all of the airlines financial data. One key feature to this program is the live map which allows us to see our pilots flying real time on our website. VAFS system certainly does allow us as an airline to provide that sense of realism that we as real world pilots and simulator pilots crave.
In an effort to provide our pilots with as much knowledge as possible we have the aid of real life pilots with varying degrees of experience who are more than happy to provide future pilots and flight Enthusiasts alike with as much real life knowledge and training as possible. We here at IVA are currently in development of the IVA Academy. The Academy will provide the airline pilots of IVA with as much in depth real world training as we and our real world pilots can provide.
We have a very dedicated, friendly, and knowledgeable staff here at intrepid to help you. We also encourage you to let us know of any suggestions that you may have to better our airline and our other branches. Once you are a member of the team, you will be granted access to VAFS, The Training Academy, and of course, Our Airline repaints.
